Building Description:
There is a surreal building in the town of Kyiv, known by locals as the Flying Saucer. The inspiration for the  Institute of Information, built in 1971, came from the Space Race between the United States and the Soviet Union. The shape was specifically designed to be a unique venue for concerts and events. It’s a brutalist architecture that embodies a challenge to be won. With its glass façade and spherical layout, the saucer can be seen flying through the streets of downtown. In search of a new mission.
