Building Description:
There is a surreal building in the town of Kyiv, known by locals as the Flying Saucer. The inspiration for the  Institute of Information, built-in 1971, came from the Space Race between the United States and the Soviet Union. The shape was specifically designed to be a unique venue for concerts and events. It’s a brutalist architecture that embodies a challenge to be won. With its glass façade and spherical layout, the saucer can be seen flying through the streets of downtown. In search of a new mission.
