The Watercolor Hotel. A monumental structure, snaking its way through the city streets. Hotel Bratislava was built in the late 1970s and it is a triumph of edges and corners. Made of Inkerman's Crimean stone, it was later covered with a layer of paint.
The solidity of this fascinating building melts away in this artwork. The original pure white is foggy, evanescent, blurred, almost wet from the rain.
